How do I deal with a claim that is 'On Ice'?

If you have submitted a claim and it has been put ‘On Ice’ – you need to take if off Ice, so we can submit this.

To do this, please go onto your Account > Customer Care > View or Submit a Claim > Press the Magnifying Glass at the end of the relevant claim line and you should then see a button marked ‘Submit Claim’

Just to explain why claims go ‘On Ice’:

Claims can go ‘on ice’ for several reasons.
Firstly, it may be that the merchant has a validation period and we are unable to submit claims until after this time period.
Alternatively , if you have submitted a claim before 7 days have elapsed from the transaction date, we will automatically put the claim ‘On Ice’, as the transaction may track onto your account.
